Peer Support
Creating safe spaces where people can openly share their struggles, find strength in each other, and learn practical coping strategies.
Our Approach
At Twogere, we believe in the power of shared experiences. Peer support connects individuals with lived experience of mental health conditions to others facing similar challenges, offering empathy, understanding, and encouragement.
Our peer support approach creates safe spaces where young people can openly share their struggles, find strength in each other, and learn practical coping strategies. This not only promotes recovery but also reduces isolation and builds a strong support network rooted in trust and lived experience.
Our groups are facilitated by trained volunteer advocates and bring together small groups of 6–8 young people.

We need to reach more young people, and we count on you
Young people who engage in our peer support programs have reported higher self-esteem, better coping skills, and stronger social connections.
With your support, we have reached over 500 young people through our peer support programs in schools and communities. Our goal is to reach 5000 by 2030.
